Common Questions

Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?

Reservations in advance are highly recommended as our boat cruises and tours do sell out quickly, especially during season. To increase your chances of getting the day and time you prefer, please book in advance.

Do you park for free?

Unfortunately no. A private parking lot adjacent to the Adventures in Paradise dock offers all-day parking most days for $5-$10 per vehicle. Prices for parking may increase during holidays and special events. You will also find METERED PARKING along Old San Carlos Blvd. There are also plenty of PRIVATE PARKING lots within close proximity to the tour boat. All-day parking normally runs between $5 to $15.

What happens if it rains?

The rain here comes and goes rather quickly, so while your captain and crew will watch the weather forecasts closely, we want to ensure your cruise is safe, enjoyable, and a memorable experience. We try to wait as long as possible before we have to cancel the cruise. If we know ahead of time of severe weather, you will be notified immediately.

In the event that we are required to cancel due to unsafe weather conditions, we will contact you in hopes you can join us at another day and time. If you are unable to join us we will be happy to process a refund. Be sure to provide a local contact number we can reach you at.

What is the cancellation policy?

Due to each boats capacity we request that cancellations be made 24 hours in advance which gives us the opportunity to offer your seats to other guests wishing to go out. (14 days for holiday tours and, 48 hours for parties of 6 or more.) Your refund will be minus the 6% booking fee.

Changes or cancellations received within 24 hours of departure time are subject to a 100% penalty.
Your card will still be charged if you did not call to cancel or if you are a no show. Cancellations via email or left on our voicemail will not be accepted.

Are we guaranteed to see dolphins?

We see dolphins 9 times out of 10 on all of our excursions, however they are a part of the wildlife and not something we can guarantee. But like we said, we rarely do not see them.

Is gratuity included in the ticket price?

Gratuity is not included in the price and is at your discretion. Never required and will get the same great service regardless. If you wish to recognize the crew for a job well done, you're more than welcome to tip them.

Is there an age limit? Can children attend?

There is no age limit. You know your kids better than us! Children of all ages are absolutely welcome to attend and there is a reduced child rate for children age 4-12. Children 3 years old and under can attend for free but are still needed in your reservation count so please book your tickets appropriately. For our holiday events, children rates are the same as the adult rate.
